Uno di millequattrocentootto
Grape Variety:
100% Nebbiolo.
Nebbiolo is the most noble grape in Piedmont and is only planted in the best vineyard sites. Deriving from the estate’s best grapes grown on its oldest vines in Neive, the grapes macerate in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and this wine ages for a minimum of two years in cask and at least six months in bottle before release. This wine has a long ageing potential.
Tasting Note:
Deep red colour, very intense aromas, full of violet and liquorish with hints of vanilla, maple syrup, and baking spices, complex tannins, full-bodied, dry and harmonious.
Food Pairing:
Pairs well with boiled meats, roasts, grilled meats, braises, stews, wild game and aged cheeses.
