Fiore di Marcorino
Grape Variety:
100% Barbera.
The wine is obtained from our oldest vineyard, in the centre of Nieve in the locality Marcorino. The grapes are harvested at the end of September, after a partial drying on the vine and are vinified in accordance with tradition. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for at least 10 months with a subsequent ageing in bottle before consumption.
Tasting Note:
Ruby red colour with garnet tendencies, intense and inviting, powerful aromas with flavours of spice and vanilla, dry, harmonious, warm and velvety.
Food Pairing:
Pairs well with pasta, meat, wild game, fresh and aged cheeses.
