Grape Variety:
100% Barbera.
The Barbera grape is known for its hardness and adapts well to the environemnt and the composition of the soil in the Langhe. The wine it produces is robust and full-bodied, intensely coloured and has good longevity. The grapes, selected and harvested by hand, are crushed and destemmed immediately on their arrival at the winery.
Tasting Note:
Ruby red colour with purple tones. As it ages it becomes more garnet; remarkable bouquet with hints of flowers and fresh fruit, dry, balanced and pleasantly fruity.
Food Pairing:
Pairs well with all Italian and International dishes, in particular with boiled meats, grilled meats, wild game, poultry and rabbit. Also with spicy and aged cheeses.
