The Greco vine, present in Southern Italy even before the foundation of Rome, finds its best expression on the hills of the municipality of Tufo where ancient Solfataria are located. According to the Homeric poems, Nestor was a very strong hero who loved to delight himself with this nectar. On the chalice from which he drank was written: “I am the cup of Nestor from which it is good to drink. Whoever drinks from this cup will immediately desire Aphrodite from the beautiful crown.” Nestor is a wine that expresses the freshness and aromatic intensity of Greco. Ample, sapid, mineral, it mainly enhances aromas of fresh fruit.
