Terra del Varo bears the name of the vineyards located around the winery, in the locality of Santa Vara. It is the result of the vinification of Aglianico and Merlot grapes. Versatile, fresh and fragrant wine.

Owned vineyards located in the hilly area of the municipalities of Luogosano, S. Angelo all’esca and Taurasi, at 350 m a.s.l.
Soil type
Calcareous clay with the presence of volcanic elements.
Winemaking
The grapes, harvested by hand around the middle of October, are pressed whole and the must is cold decanted; it follows the alcoholic fermentation that takes place for a part in French oak barrels and for the remaining part in steel. The wine remains in aging sur lies both in wood and in steel and finally matures at least 6 months in bottle.

Intense ruby red.
Scent
Aromas reminiscent of black cherry and blackberries with light notes of black pepper and bitter cocoa, all on a pleasant background of sweet spices.
Aroma
Soft, with elegant tannins, sapid and persistent with an aftertaste that recalls berries, black cherry and aromatic herbs.
