In the hills of soave the vine-grower, gino magnabosco, together with his family, carry on this very passion that traditions have handed down. Intense scent, dry taste and fresh are characteristics of monte tondo’s wines that are difficult to forget. Magnabosco family is attentive to any new improvement in grape-producing technology of soave and valpolicella, in order to guarantee wine of the best quality at all times to represent the area in which it is produced.
32 hectares of vineyards are situated on the best plots that the soave zone can offer: Monte Tenda, Monte Foscarino and Monte Tondo, from which the vineyard takes its name, ensure that the wine produced has an intense perfume, a bouquet ranging from floral to fruity with an unmistakeable flavour. A witness of that bond which the holiday farmhouse has knitted between her soave white wines and the history of these hills.

Grape variety: 50% Corvina; 20% Corvinone; 30% Rondinella.

Vinification: this wine is obtained by combining the still a little sweet Amarone skins, with some Valpolicella wine. In this way we’ll have a second fermentation of the wine with the increase of structure, color and percentage of alcohol. Pressing and maceration with skins for 2 to 4 days.The second fermentation least 2 to 4 days at 20- 25°C. Lather the wine is age in barrels for 18 months. After the bottling the wine mast age in the bottle for 8 months.
Characteristics: ruby red dark.The nose is powerful fruity aromas of confeiture of red fruits, cherries under grappa, and spices and same vanilla; well-balanced with a light, smooth, slightly tannic finish.
Food matches: ideal with nourishing first courses, entrecote or grilled meat.
Temperature: serve at 17°-18°C
