Etna DOC Rosso
Contrada Santo Spirito
Palmento Costanzo

Strictly Etna – At the foot of the “Muntagna”, in a recently restored historic Palmento.

Everything here uncompromisingly speaks of the «Muntagna», the name they fondly use to refer to the Etna. Eighteen hectares divided into several contradas and hills. The small parcels are vinified separately because each plot is characterized by the lava flow that sedimented over time.

A Natural Masterpiece!

The vineyards of Palmento Costanzo are located in Contrada Santo Spirito, in Passopisciaro, a small town near Castiglione di Sicilia. This is the heart of the Parco Naturale dell’Etna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mt. Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano, offers one of the most spectacular territories in the world. An active and dynamic place, overflowing with terrestrial energy: a vigorous natural laboratory where everything evolves and transforms.

In the cellar, the parcels are vinified separately, following specific paths focused at capturing the soul of the volcano’s different expressions. The vats and barrels chosen also aim at purity: stainless steel, tonneaux and large barrels have been selected to ensure that the essence of wood would not overpower the natural richness of the vine of origin.

Production area: Contrada Santo Spirito, Passopisciaro, Mount Etna.
