Tenuta Fanti – Sant`Antimo Bianco Soralisa DOC 2019 – 13.5%vol

“In a land of red wines, a great white makes his way”.

Tenuta Fanti is a family-run farm located in Castelnuovo dell’abate-Montalcino, Tuscany. Filippo and Elisa Fanti manage with passion 260 hectares of land.

The vineyards are located at between 150 and 430 meters above sea level, they all have different exposures and they are situated around the wine cellar with a maximum distance of 3 km.

The soil has a volcanic origin and it is rich in skeleton, which is made of “galestro” and “alberese” rocks. Due to the low fertility of the land and the uniqueness of the terroir, the vines have a limited production of grapes and the wines produced have rare organoleptic characteristics.

Filippo Fanti has been producing white wine since the 80’s by using Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Toscana. In the early 2000s, Filippo decided to enrich its characters by introducing Viognier and Vermentino to the blend, in order to make it more fragrant and mineral.

This is how the “Soralisa” was born, a delicate wine in honor of his beloved aunt Lisina.

Grape varieties: Malvasia Toscana, Trebbiano Toscano, Viognier, Vermentino.

Harvest: Manual, half September according to the seasonal trend.

Vinification: The grapes are softly pressed and then put in the stainless steel tanks where they undergone fermentation at a controlled temperature (between 17° -19°). After that, the wine is kept in the tanks for three additional months.
